This poem is about the dangers of using technology to solve the world’s problems. If the world is to live without us then you can’t worry about technology to save us. You can only teach others to accept the outside as our home.
This is my tool of response
Tools are what made us.
Thinking is what saves us.
Making friends is what runs us.
Taking power is what kills us.
Finding others is what rules us.
The making uplifts us
The taking will destroy us
Overmaking sickens us
Tools never are us
Do planets expel us?
Bringing up gives us
The way to learn us
Every tool worlds us
In responses between us
For talk is the tool of us
