The Sound of Friendship

I think music is the greatest endeavour there is because you understand it without having to think it. Unthinking is the moment when your body is experiencing sound but your mind is at rest. The joy of music is the unthinking together we get when dancing and singing to sound.

The trouble with music is the way we listen to it. When people listen with headphones they destroy the music. They are hiding the sound in their head. Instead, music should be shared with others so that we all get to hear the sound of unthinking tunes.

Having music in the house is a sign that Dad is relaxed. The music Dad loves is distinct from others because it is soloists that feature. In the music the band supports the soloist in the rendition of the song and it is up to the soloist to make the song interesting for the audience. Music in the house is what relaxes my family. The less music there is the more sadness remains.

Music is a holiday from daily existence. Holidays are everyone’s time to relax and for me music is a holiday from my mind. When I listen together, I am listening with others as friends. Friendship is the sound of music.
